NS Apartment

This project is about reimagining a conventional apartment into an inspiring home for a fashion designer, where space becomes an extension of creative practice, shaped by softness and restraint. Openness and transparency are the key spatial drivers that shaped a new atmosphere. One that feels inherently light, not through emptiness, but through the continuity of sweeping, fluid lines.

Rather than being defined by rigid boundaries, the space unfolds naturally. Continuity between interior and exterior becomes essential, allowing them to flow seamlessly into one another. Openings are not treated as mere windows, but as natural frames, composed views that extend the space into the garden.

Inside, curved edges dissolve boundaries, allowing movement to flow naturally from one moment to the next. Flexibility is embedded in the layout, where spaces adapt rather than dictate, opening and closing with curtains rather than walls. The ceiling remains flat and uninterrupted, a quiet plane that enhances the fluid geometry of the walls. The fireplace becomes a subtle focal point, warm, tactile, alive, anchoring the atmosphere without overwhelming it.

The palette of materials is deliberately grounded: natural wood for window frames, light oak wood parquet, and white painted surfaces kept calm and cohesive. Light becomes a material in itself, sliding across surfaces, revealing textures, and shifting throughout the day. Nothing competes; everything resonates.

The result is a space that feels both grounded and fluid; sensual not through excess, but through balance, warmth, and the seamless dialogue between form, material, and nature.
