IB Apartment

IB Apartment is the renovation of a residence within a 1970s building in Beirut. The design rethinks the existing plan to create a more fluid and contemporary living environment, maximizing openness, functionality and visual continuity between spaces.

Curved walls soften the rigid geometry of the original structure and guide movement naturally through the apartment. Rather than defining rooms as isolated spaces, the intervention creates a continuous spatial sequence in which living areas connect while retaining their individual character.

A restrained material palette and carefully integrated lighting reinforce the clarity of the design. The result is a contemporary interior that respects the character of the existing building while adapting it to a more open and flexible way of living.
